There is nothing more important than the salvation (saving) of the human soul. The purpose of God sending his only begotten son Jesus Christ is for us to repent from our sins. We must accept him as our personal savior that we may have eternal life.
How much does God love mankind ?
Despite man sinning against God and denying God's goodness, God humbled himself and came to us (the world) in the form of a human. He stepped out of an eternal place of purity and power and walked among mankind as Jesus Christ in the form of flesh (Emmanuel means God tabernacled with us). Jesus lived a sin-free life and became the ultimate sacrifice and atonement for the sins of the world. Accept Jesus Christ (God's act of love) and inherit eternal life.
Seeking God means to seek the face or presence of God. To be before his face is to be in his presence.
The great blessing to seeking God is that you will find him with an awesome reward. "...for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him" (Hebrews 11:6).
God himself is our greatest reward and when we have him, we have everything. Therefore, “Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually ” (Psalm 105:4).
A sinner who rejects Christ until the last minute to repent or ask to be saved, is driven NOT BY GODLY SORROW but by the FEAR OF DEATH. They have enjoyed a life of sin and when death is near they want a "get out of hell" ticket. You cannot schedule a deep felt “GODLY SORROW” emotion like a calendar appointment. It must be real, from the heart and authentic. It is dangerous, risky and hopeless to expect salvation on a deathbed in that situation.
Learning about God thru the Holy Scriptures (Bible) is the first step toward getting to know God. The Old and New Testament Bible reveals God and how we are to please Him. It reveals to us God's nature, personality and character. The bible makes known to us what pleases God and what displeases God. The bible is plain, easy to understand and clearly instructs us how to have a close relationship with God.
God has revealed himself to man in several ways.
1. Our human conscience. "For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves" (Romans 2:14).
2. Jesus Christ. "Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high" (Hebrews 1:3).
We must study our Bible and continue in prayer for God’s guidance in our daily lives. Jesus is our Chief Shepard and he will lead us on the path of joy, peace and eternal life. This path must also include suffering but when we suffer with him we will reign with him.
Prayer is communication between the believer and God. It is a two way process where man talks to God and God listens. Prayer to God is similar to a child asking for provision from a Father. When God saves us, we become his children and have the benefit of praying to God anytime for all things according to his will.
An intimate relationship with God starts with honest prayer. We have to be open with God when dealing with our shortcomings and areas of pain.
"Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered." (Romans 8:26)
At the day of Pentecost and since then, all that received the baptism of the Holy Ghost has the evidence of speaking in tongues.
"For the promise is unto you, and your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call" (Acts 2:39).
The bible makes it easy for us to understand the difference between the Holy Ghost baptism (unknown tongues) and the gift of tongues (diverse tongues).
The speaking in tongues as a sign or evidence of the Holy Ghost baptism began at the day of Pentecost and continues unto this day (Acts 2:4).
The gift of tongues is dispersed from the same spirit (Holy Ghost) but different in administration and is intended to profit withal (I Cor. 12:10).
It is important to protect yourself against false prophets (preachers) and their doctrine. In order to guard yourself, you must know God's word ( 2 Tim. 2:15).
The bible warns against false teachers (Matt. 24:23-27; 2 Peter 3:3;
2 Corinthians 11:13-15 ).
Finally, our soul's destiny (Heaven or Hell) is based upon accepting Jesus Christ and growing in him through the guidance of a God sent preacher.

God created marriage in the Garden of Eden as a "one flesh" union between one man and one woman. Marriage mirrors the intimate relationship between Christ and the church (his body).

Christ is touched with the feelings of our infirmities (The Church). Husbands are commanded to imitate this attitude toward their wives. It is a lifelong relationship, which involves letting down our guards to allow for intimacy (not just physically) and striving to be "in touch" with her feelings and concerns.
Worshiping God requires a reverence and deep respect by the worshipper. There are rules we must follow in order to worship God. We must worship God in spirit and truth. This requires God’s spirit to be in the worshipper, saint or believer. Too often, churches allow unbelievers to participate in worship service functions such as the choir or playing musical instruments. You cannot worship a Holy God while still committing (practicing) sin.
Vain glory is very similar to the pride of life. It is also descibed as empty glory. We must always seek God to show us his will for us and abide in his will. We are not to envy others nor pursue something God has not given us. Accept that we are individuals created by God and fulfill the calling (purpose) he has determined for us and never compare ourselves based on the accomplish of others. "Let us not be desirous of vain glory provoking one another, envying one another" Galations 5:26.
